The Challenge:
The Zuni Public Schools faced significant health challenges during the COVID-19 pandemic, leading to the closure of the area and heightened concerns about indoor air quality. The impact of the virus on Native American communities was profound, with many losing loved ones and the community implementing strict measures to protect its residents. Given the importance of maintaining safe indoor environments for students and staff, there was an urgent need to improve air quality in educational settings.
Traditional floor-mounted air purifiers posed several issues: they required manual operation, had limited air circulation near the floor, and could be easily disrupted by students.
The Solution:
To address these challenges, the Zuni Public Schools decided to install the VIDASHIELD UV24 Air Purification System, integrated within the ceiling, offering ease of use and enhanced air quality. This solution provided several benefits:

Viruses and bacteria are introduced by people after the central HVAC system delivers treated air. The VIDASHIELD UV24 Air Purification system treats this contamination at the source and immediately returns clean air back into the space.
